Tips

Typically pastrami is used in making sandwiches in the American Jewish community. It is a pretty versatile food, you can replace it with bacon to make a breakfast with some fried eggs, or in a pasta dish. This is also an important component for our beef sandwiches.

Method

The meat is brined for several days before boiling and finished in a smoker to create a signature bark (outer skin of the meat).
